The Specialist Mind: Curated, Multimodal Knowledge at Dispatch
Curated facts, preferences, rules, and vision-derived design patterns distilled into retrievable atoms the engine injects at dispatch.
More than instructions — a curated source library
A specialist's Mind is curated, multimodal source material distilled into small retrievable atoms — facts, preferences, rules, visual patterns — that the engine injects automatically at dispatch time, before the specialist's turn even starts. A "frontend architect" specialist, for instance, can be fed real screenshots; the Mind extracts design DNA from them — layout, palette, typography, component motifs — that the specialist later reasons over on unrelated tasks, the same way a real designer's taste is shaped by everything they've looked at, not just a written style guide.
Degrades gracefully, never blocks dispatch
Ingestion is deliberately non-blocking: with no embedding provider configured, atoms are still stored and retrieved by recency instead of relevance; with no vision model configured, an image is stored unextracted rather than dropped. A specialist with a partially-configured Mind still dispatches — it's just less sharply informed than one with the full pipeline wired up.
